Electronic Merchant Services Solutions
Merchant Account

EMS sets up and manages merchant accounts for businesses that want a payment setup built around how they actually operate. That includes the straightforward cases, and it includes the ones other processors decline. Whether you run a single retail counter, an e-commerce store, a restaurant group, or a business in an industry most processors avoid, the account gets structured by a Certified Payments Professional rather than assigned from a template.

Pricing is flexible across the range, from low volume startups to companies processing more than $1 million a month. There is no application fee, and most complete applications are approved within 24 hours.

Not sure what you need yet?

Most business owners come to us already processing somewhere else and unsure whether they are getting a fair deal. If that is you, start with a free statement review. Send one month’s statement and you will get a plain-English breakdown of your true all-in rate, which fees are legitimate, and whether anything in your current setup puts you at risk of held funds.

EMS has the right merchant account for your business. Our low-cost pricing is flexible to fit every business type from low risk to high-risk businesses and low volume to high volume companies transacting more than $1,000,000 per month. Ways to take payments

How you accept a card matters as much as what you pay to accept it. These are the setups we install and support.

Credit card machines. Countertop and wireless terminals for in-person sales, configured for your transaction volume and average ticket.

Virtual terminal and mobile payments. Take payments from a laptop or phone without dedicated hardware. Useful for service businesses, mail order, and phone orders.

EMS for QuickBooks. Process payments inside the accounting software you already use, so deposits and records reconcile without double entry.

Payment gateways. Authorize.net and Converge, set up and supported alongside your merchant account for online and omnichannel selling.

Types of processing

Different businesses need different account structures. These are the main ones.

Credit card processing. Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express for retail, e-commerce, restaurants, professional services, and nonprofits, with next day funding to the bank of your choice.

High risk merchant accounts. If you have been declined, frozen, or held elsewhere, this is the page to read. We place accounts in industries most processors will not touch, and we stay with the file through underwriting instead of handing it off.

Pin debit. Lower cost per transaction on debit sales for businesses with heavy in-person volume.

Electronic check and ACH. Accept and convert checks electronically, useful for recurring billing and larger ticket invoicing.

Gift and loyalty cards. Branded gift card programs and repeat customer incentives that run through the same terminal.

Knowing what your account is doing

Processing statements are notoriously hard to read. These tools make the numbers visible without needing a decoder ring.

My Payment Insider. Online access to your transaction activity, deposits, and statements.

Settlement Reconciliation Service. A breakdown of gross credit, debit, and gift card activity, which matters at tax time since processors report gross volume to the IRS on Form 1099-K.

Protecting the account

Security is not optional in payments, and getting it wrong is expensive. These are handled as part of the account rather than sold separately.

PCI compliance. Every business that touches card data has to meet the standard. We walk you through what applies to your setup and help you file what is required.

Fraud management. Screening tools that filter suspicious transactions before they settle.

Chargeback prevention. Practical steps to reduce disputes, and support when one lands.

EMV. Chip card acceptance, which shifts fraud liability away from your business on in-person sales.

What you actually get with EMS

Every account is managed by a Certified Payments Professional. That is the difference between a rep reading a script and someone who can look at your statement and tell you what is really happening in it.

You also get a real person on the phone, a processor that follows up during underwriting instead of letting applications stall, and honest answers when the right call is to stay where you are.

Ready to start?

The application takes a few minutes, costs nothing, and carries no contract. Most complete applications are approved within 24 hours.
